About Allgood Electric

Hello, my name is Troy Allgood and I am the owner of Allgood Electric Inc of San Antonio. I started my electrical career as an electrician's helper in a work study program in High school at that time called ICT(Industrial Cooperative Training). I worked half days, weekends and summers throughout High school.

I attended Sam Houston State University (82'), also working as an electrician, for my part time work. I left the University for a while to work full time for an electrical contractor for several years. I returned to SHSU, as a licensed Journeyman electrician, got a job working for the University as a Maintenance Electrician. I finished my coursework at SHSU with a BBA in General Business Administration and during the same time period, was able to get my first Electrical Masters License with the City of Huntsville, TX.

I left the University and worked as an electrician for several more years, in Killeen TX and San Antonio TX on major commercial projects for the Government. While in San Antonio, I went to work for Summit Electric Supply for 9 years in Electrical Sales. During the time that I worked for them, I got married, we had a baby, and the State of Texas changed to a State Electrical License. I took the test, passed it the first time, and when the opportunity presented itself, left Summit and open Allgood Electric Inc in '04 with an emphasis on residential electrical work.

At this writing (07-11), I now have four trucks, and some great guys that work for me. If you hire us, you will get to meet them and see how terrific they are.
I am a member of NARI, SABOR, I mentor child in elementary school, and I attend The Waters Church in Schertz TX. I have three kids, 18,7,4 and a wonderful wife that teaches Kindergarten.
